Easter Opening Hours

During the Easter holidays the CLIC (Library) will open as follows:

Fri. 2 April - Mon. 5 April: CLOSED

Tue. 6 April - Fri. 9 April: 10.00 am - 4.00 pm

Sat. 10 April: CLOSED

Mon. 12 April - Thu. 15 April: 10.00 am - 4.00 pm

Fri. 16 April: 12.00 am - 4.00 pm

Sat. 17 April: CLOSED

We will return to normal opening hours on Monday 19 April.

Essential network maintenance

Please note that essential network maintenance work will be carried out today between 5pm and 6pm. So there will be no Internet or network access during those times and so you should save all files adn log off by 5pm at the latest.

Philip Allan Updates magazines now online

For several years now we have subscribed to the print copies of several of the Philip Allan Update magazines which are aimed at supporting A-Level students in a wide range of subjects. Now all the issues in the current volumes of these magazines are available online at the following website:

To log in click on the "Teacher" button and then enter the log in details which are available from CLIC staff.

Full issues of each magazine are available as digital magazines while other related support resources are available in Word, pdf and PowerPoint formats. The magazines to which we currently subscribe are: 20th Century History Review; Biological Sciences Review; Business Review; Chemistry Review; Economic Review; English Review; Geography Review; PE Review; Physics Review; Politics Review; Psychology Review; RS Review and Sociology Review. While these magazine are aimed primarily at A-Level students there is still a lot of useful and well-written material for students preparing for Higher and Advanced Higher examinations.
